About Jenneth

Ceremony is where my love of people, creativity & the sacred come together. It is a privilege to bring these parts of myself to the moments that matter to you.

Ceremony is where my love of people, creativity & the sacred come together. It is a privilege to bring these parts of myself to the moments that matter to you.

I’m Jenneth, a registered celebrant & practising priestess. I travel around Australia, creating ceremonies that honour life, our beautiful Earth and what you hold sacred.

How I Became The Green Celebrant

When I married in 2006, I wanted a ceremony that expressed our spiritual beliefs, and a celebrant who understood our love of the Earth. I met some beautiful people, but couldn’t find someone who was … well, like us.

So we held two ceremonies. A lovely celebrant took care of the legal part at our hotel, then we went out onto the Earth for our spiritual wedding. That second ceremony was powerful. I still wondered how it might have felt to share our story, speak our vows and honour what we held sacred, with the legal elements woven naturally into it all.

In the years that followed, I crafted ceremonies to welcome babies, farewell loved ones, honour womanhood and celebrate love. I met others who wanted the kind of wedding I’d imagined. So in 2016, I pulled up my green striped socks & registered as a celebrant!

Meet Jenneth

I discovered the power of ceremony in 2001, gathering with other women to celebrate the moon & the seasons. I was studying Visual Arts at the time, and found that art gave me another way to express that connection. With the patience of beloved friends, I began leading ceremonies of my own and learning what helped them deepen, flow and hold meaning.

For years, I lived between two worlds. One held uniforms, policy manuals and meeting minutes. The other held ceremonies beneath moonlight and at sunrise. In 2017, I left the corporate world and found a way to weave ceremony together with my work as a counsellor first, and then as a Steiner teacher.

When my husband died in 2021, a close friend held ceremony for us, making space for our grief and honouring our fifteen years of marriage. Being held in that way gave me a bittersweet understanding of what ceremony can offer in times of loss.

In time, alongside the grief, new love and possibility began to take root. I met my partner, welcomed our daughter at home, and in the winter of 2026 we packed up our home and moved into a converted 25-seater bus. Now we’re travelling around Australia, and wherever the road takes me, I bring a creative heart & a steady pair of hands.

The Heart of Ceremony

Some moments deserve to be honoured. Ceremony gives us time to pause, acknowledge what has been and welcome what is yet to come. That might be a wedding, a handfasting, a baby blessing or a farewell. It might also be becoming an elder, leaving something behind or beginning again.

Sometimes the simplest actions hold the deepest meaning. A candle lit, a cord tied, a stone placed upon the Earth, or a blessing spoken by someone you love. Together, we can find the words, symbols and rituals that feel right for you. At the heart of it all is your story, and what you hold sacred.

What Makes Me a Green Celebrant

As a pagan, I hold a deep reverence for our Earth and the living beings we share it with. I try to make thoughtful, earth-friendly choices, with compassion for myself when I stumble and a willingness to keep learning.

I love creating ceremonies that honour the places where we gather. Beneath ancient trees, beside the ocean or in the familiar comfort of your own backyard, the landscape and the season can help shape the ceremony. Sometimes the Earth has already provided everything we need.

Let’s Talk About Your Ceremony.

If there’s a moment in your life you’d like to honour, I’d love to hear about it.
Tell me a little about what you’re imagining, and where and when you’d like to gather. We can begin there.
